- Legitimate interests: in some cases, we may process your personal data to pursue the CRA-W's legitimate interests, unless your fundamental rights and freedoms override these interests. For example, this could include improving our services or securing our infrastructures.
These legal bases ensure that the CRA-W's processing of your personal data complies with legal requirements and respects your rights.

What are your rights?
Under the GDPR, you have the rights set out below:
a. Right of access and information
You have the right of access to your data, i.e. the right to access your personal data processed by the CRA-W, without having to justify your request. You may also request a copy of the processed data.
b. Right of rectification
You have the right to require the CRA-W to rectify, as soon as possible, any personal data concerning you that is inaccurate, incomplete or obsolete.
c. Right to erase data ("right to be forgotten")
You can ask the CRA-W to delete your personal data as soon as possible in the following cases:
- the personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected;
- the data processing was based exclusively on your consent, which you have withdrawn;
- you object to the processing for well-founded reasons;
- in any case, this right will not be granted if the processing is required to comply with a legal obligation that requires it or if it is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
d. Right to limitation
You have the right to require the CRA-W to limit the processing of your personal data when one of the following cases applies:
- you are disputing the accuracy of your personal data. In this case, the limitation only applies for a time duration that allows the CRA-W to verify the accuracy of the personal data;
- the processing is unlawful and, instead of erasure, you demand that its use be limited;
- the CRA-W is no longer processing your data for the purposes for which it was collected, but it is still necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
- you can prove that you have objected to the processing.
e. Right to data portability
You have the right to request that the data you provided to the CRA-W be sent to you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. You also have the right to transfer your data to another data controller without the CRA-W being able to prevent this.
f. Right of opposition
You have the right to oppose the processing of your personal data, at any time and for reasons relating to your particular situation.
In this case, the CRA-W must immediately cease processing the data in question, unless:
